appearance, Kairu is very sporadic in his attire, he never wears the same style of clothing for more than a week. The first thing that is easily noticeable about him is the fact that he is hetrochromatic one eye being blue and the other red. He gained his blue eye from his mother and his red from his father, he feels that part of them lives on inside of him. Kairu is rather lean yet well toned in build also measuring in at 5'11", he has long white hair with two braids in it that matches his greyish white tail. Also nestled inside his hair are two wolf ears. | personality, Kairu is very proud of his appearance, he can be found constantly preening himself on the counter of the shop much to Joran's annoyance. Kairu believes that work is something other people should be doing, preferring to use magic to take care of any menial tasks. He can be very sarcastic and rude in the way he talks to Joran, he enjoys tormenting his boss. Despite the way he comes across on first impressions those who get to know him find him to be a kind, thoughtful individual the sort of person who would vanish after helping someone so as not to get the credit. Although he never mentions it to Joran he has a special fondness for the younger man, if it came to it Kairu would be the first to Joran's defence. Kairu enjoys the luxuries in life more than anyone else he knows, he enjoys good food, good company and expensive clothing. A perfect day is a lazy day, Kairu currently holds the record for being almost fired the most times in all of Terra Heroum a fact that he is proud of. Kairu also has a soft spot for the down trodden and the poor, he feels that nobody should be treated unfairly. Something else that really touches Kairu are orphans, while he won't take on the responsibility of looking after an orphan he always donates some of his money to orphanages. |

Kairu was born into a nomadic Beastfolk Tribe, a group of beastfolk who decided they wanted to explore the world for themselves in search of lost relics. Kairu began from an early age working with the tribe to unearth all forms of treasures in the unknown sands, he very quickly earned the reputation of being a hard working young lad. On the way back from such an excursion into the unknown sands they passed through the mountains, there they were ambushed by phantasms. Kairu only remembers his mother screaming for him to run as a phantasm killed her in front of him he still remembers the light leaving her eyes and it haunts his dreams to this day.
Kairu eventually found himself wandering in Terra Heroum alone, cold, hungry and tired. He stumbled into a village on the same night his tribe was killed, Kairu was taken in by a travelling merchant who was staying at the local tavern. The merchant - Ma'ie - took him in and raised Kairu as his apprentice. Kairu eventually began to open up to the merchant and became very adept at trading, Kairu began to take on some of Ma'ie's traits such as vanity, sarcasm, kindness. Kairu began to adopt Ma'ie as a father figuire.
When Kairu reached the age of 20 he departed from his now aged master as a full fleged merchant. Despite having such a skill however Kairu wanted to explore the magic that his father had never finished teaching him. It was something his father had held dear, stopping by andor to get some supplies Kairu ended up in an old an old antique shop named Relics and Oddities. While browsing Kairu fell breaking several artifacts in the shop, the crazy old man began ranting about how they were priceless. Kairu felt responsible for the damages he pledged to work for the shop as long as it took to repay the damages. The old man brought up a written contract, Kairu signed himself to a life of servitude with a low pay rate it also included free meals. Kairu spent an entire 8 years working for the old man, he worked there long enough to experience the death of the old man much to Kairu's own grief. The old man passed the shop onto his grandson Joran, his final wish was that Kairu would look over Joran and the shop for him. Kairu felt obliged to help this old man whom he had spent 8 precious years of his life working for. Recently the shop expenses were getting higher than the income, this meant that Kairu found himself being dragged out on adventures with Joran to find new artifacts and things to sell along with money from quests and the like.
