Caleb is of average height for a human, he has shaggy brown hair with bangs that drape over his bright green eyes. His build is lean, yet toned indicating his preference for quick foot work over being as stout as a mountain. His face is fair given all that he has experienced in his active career as a mercenary; however, he bears rather deep scars upon his back from his time as a prisoner of a band of thieves. A trident-shaped burn scar is fastened upon his left bicep giving further indication of his time as a prisoner.

Caleb is shown to be by turns understanding, kind, funny, mischievous, and, to some a bit immature. Yet this is all an elaborate ruse to hide the keen mind that lies beneath the crass mask. It can be said that Caleb values the virtues of friendship, loyalty, and love above all else and takes betrayal rather personally.

Caleb is an avid fan of music, art, and history. In particular, he has a rather positive outlook over the Hero of the Sword, Arthur believing that Arthur had done what was necessary to bring stability following the death of the High King Dragoon. He is known to use crude humor, make inappropriate innuendos and indulge in an otherwise hedonistic lifestyle. Likewise, Caleb is known to constantly joke and generally presents himself as a laid back, and relaxed individual. It is almost common to see Caleb overindulging when it comes to food, particularly chicken. Remarkably, Caleb keeps in excellent shape in spite of his bad eating habits, avoiding typical health issues such as gout.

Caleb typically avoids emotional intimacy, preferring to engage with women in intimate flings. However, he has had one noted relationship with his former partner, Elana Fallendorf which while short, brought out a desire to settle down and start a family within Caleb. After the tragic events that led to Elana’s death, Caleb has since resumed his routine of “Different Day, Different Girl” primarily as a means of coping with Elana’s death. In spite of this, Caleb is neither chauvinistic nor is he demeaning towards those of the opposite sex. That said, when in a fight, Caleb is not known to hold back when fighting women believing that in life or death situations, chivalry is not going to keep himself alive.

Ever reluctant to sacrifice anyone other than himself, Caleb is notorious for his willingness to put himself in harm’s way. To Caleb, being a leader means he is a protector of his subordinates which has often led to situations where he has compromised his own well being to ensure that others make it to safety. He has been called out for this reckless behavior by many, and unsurprisingly Elana herself has reprimanded him for senselessly endangering himself. When properly angered, Caleb's personality seems to flip entirely, as the jokes and quips cease and a more ruthless aspect comes to light. When angered, Caleb is quiet and methodical in exacting his vengeance upon those who have wronged him seeing it as a personal slight as opposed to simply doing a job.
