Gold Shop
Here is a compiled list of everything you can buy with gold on the site, divided into separate categories (if you would like you may use the following Key Words to CTRL+F or CMD+F down to the section you want): Consumables, Weapons, Armor, Companions.Consumables
These are generically designed one-time use items. You can make the item itself whatever you want, as you are purchasing the effect it gives you (much like how you can design abilities how you want). All Consumable items affect 1 target, so you can use them on yourself or 1 ally or 1 enemy depending on the effect.

Weapons
All characters start with at least one Tier 1 weapon. This is where you spend your gold if find you need to get a new weapon, or improve one you already have to do more damage. A "weapon" can be whatever you want it to be, whether it's a regular long sword or sharp claws or a ball and chain or whatever. What you are effectively paying for is the damage that comes with it, rather than a specific kind of weapon. Upgrades can similarly be flavored how you wish, but ultimately all they do is improve the Weapon Damage rather than giving some other kind of effect. Below is each Tier of weapon and their damage, as well as the associated costs.
- Tier 1 Weapon - 5 Damage
- Tier 2 Weapon - 10 Damage
- Tier 3 Weapon - 15 Damage
- Tier 4 Weapon - 20 Damage
Buying a new Tier 1 Weapon - 150 Gold
Upgrading a Weapon from Tier 1 to Tier 2 - 100 Gold
Upgrading a Weapon from Tier 2 to Tier 3 - 200 Gold
Upgrading a Weapon from Tier 3 to Tier 4 - 400 GoldArmor
Characters on the front line will want to invest in armor. Since it is a passive reduction of all Attack Damage you take, it is a boon for many encounters that would slay the unprepared. Armor and Shields add to your armor, but have different values and different costs. What kind of armor or shield it is, much like with weapons, is left to your discretion but it does not change the actual amount of protection it offers you.
- Tier 1 Armor - 4 Armor
- Tier 2 Armor - 8 Armor
- Tier 3 Armor - 12 Armor
- Tier 4 Armor - 16 Armor
- Tier 1 Shield - 2 Armor
- Tier 2 Shield - 4 Armor
- Tier 3 Shield - 6 Armor
- Tier 4 Shield - 8 Armor
Buying new Tier 1 Armor - 200 Gold
Upgrading Armor from Tier 1 to Tier 2 - 150 Gold
Upgrading Armor from Tier 2 to Tier 3 - 300 Gold
Upgrading Armor from Tier 3 to Tier 4 - 600 Gold
Buying a new Tier 1 Shield - 75 Gold
Upgrading a Shield from Tier 1 to Tier 2 - 50 Gold
Upgrading a Shield from Tier 2 to Tier 3 - 100 Gold
Upgrading a Shield from Tier 3 to Tier 4 - 200 GoldCompanions
Companions are a little special. Companions are essentially extra characters that add onto yours, helpful NPCs that obey your wishes (unless they're a cat). A Companion can either be an Animal/Phantasm or a Hired Hand. Companion Animals/Phantasms are treated as a normal Animal/Phantasm of their species and has all associated abilities and skills. A Hired Hand is essentially like making a secondary character for yours, a follower or helper of sorts. Could be a Squire, an Apprentice, a hired Bard to sing of your exploits, whatever you think you might need. They have a Race and Class like any other character, and have certain bonuses based on the Tier of Hired Hand.
Tier 0 Companion: 10 Gold
Essentially a prop; they cannot meaningfully contribute to you in combat but are more or less for fun. Can be a Tier 0 Animal/Phantasm or a Hired Hand with no bonuses from Race or Class.
Tier 1 Companion: 200 Gold
Tier 1 Companions act as allies in combat and will aid you however they can. It takes 1 of your actions to direct them to do something, which they do to the best of their ability in the same action. Can be a Tier 1 Animal/Phantasm or a Hired Hand who receive any associated bonuses from Race and are Tier 1 in their class, possessing one Tier 1 Weapon.
Tier 2 Companion: 400 Gold
Tier 2 Companions act as allies in combat and will aid you however they can. They possess 1 action of their own and take their action during your turn, not costing any of your actions to act. Can be a Tier 2 Animal/Phantasm or a Hired Hand who receives any associated bonuses from Race and can be Tier 2 in their Class, possess one Tier 2 Weapon, or have one Tier 2 Ability (if they get an ability from their class, this bonus upgrades that ability to Tier 2).
Tier 3 Companion: 800 Gold
Tier 3 Companions act as allies in combat and will aid you however they can. They possess 2 actions of their own and take their actions during your turn, not costing any of your actions to act. Can be a Tier 3 Animal/Phantasm or a Hired Hand who receives any associated bonuses from Race and is Tier 2 in their Class as well as possessing one Tier 2 Weapon or one Tier 2 Ability.
Upgrading a Companion
If you have a Companion that you would like to upgrade (such as improving a Hired Hand or trading in your old Animal/Phantasm for a new one), the cost to do so is the difference in cost between the Companion's current Tier and the Tier you wish to upgrade it to. You lose your old Companion in the process and so do not gain a second Companion. You can buy a second Companion, it would simply be the full price like normal.
