Monk Progression:
- Tier 1 - Choose One-- Iron Fist Skill or Iron Will Skill
Skill Name: Iron Fist
Skill Type: Monk
Skill Effect: Increases the Monks attack damage by 2 when unarmed or wielding blunt weapons such as staves.
Skill Name: Iron Will
Skill Type: Monk
Skill Effect: Status conditions last one less turn on the Monk. This cannot drop their duration below a single turn. Additionally, this skill causes Paralysis to be treated as Slow, but only last for the turns Paralysis would have. Note that acquiring Slow this way pierces Immunity to Slow, but can be avoided if one possesses Immunity to Paralysis. - Tier 2 - Sundering Blows Skill
Skill Name: Sundering Blows
Skill Type: Monk
Skill Effect: The Monk's attacks strike away their enemies mortal protections: Every attack or martial ability that inflicts physical damage reduces the targets armor by 2 for 4 rounds. Every spell or ability that inflicts magical damage increases the damage the target takes from magical sources by 2 for 3 rounds. These effects stack. - Tier 3 - 1 Martial Ability or 1 Magical Ability
- Tier 4 - Discipline Skill
Skill Name: Discipline
Skill Type: Monk
Skill Effect: Using the defend action or an item does not break the Monk's focus from combat. Every time the monk performs a non-damaging action, they gain a stack of Focus, increasing the attack damage of their attacks by 2 or the Magic damage of their attacks by 3. Stacks twice. Attacking removes a stack of Focus.
