AUROS VERR
STEADFAST SENTINEL
HUMAN | TWENTY SEVEN | MALE |
NEUTRAL GOOD | WARRIOR | MAN AT ARMS |
appearance, Tall compared to his peers, Auros stands at six feet and four inches. Due to the situation he was brought up in, he has filled his clothes out, having built himself a muscular physique. His hair is of an uncommon color, the red flair a significant giveaway to his presence. Like his hair, his eyes possess a red hue to it. Auros' rigid jawline and angular brows give him a look of perpetual suspicion. Although rare, when outside of his usual uniform, he dresseds himself in simple garb. | personality, The way Verr children were brought up was to appreciate every little thing they had. This value was instilled and driven into the young men of the Verr bloodline and he carried that with him throughout his life. Because of this, he has a humble and open view on most situations. He takes pride in all of his doings, knowing very well that it was for the better. He strives for greatness and would do anything to reach the pinnacle and his fullest potential. With a decent sense of humor and above-average communication skills, he does enjoy a conversation from time to time and appreciates learning about other beings. In order to protect those around him, he would like to know what sets them in harm's way. As for what would make Verr a normal human being, his flaws are not few and far between. He, at many times in his life, has had a flaring temper. When it comes to irritable situations, there is no telling what he may do next. In any given 'bad' scenario, Auros could potentially approach it with a loud mouth or his sword drawn and ready to spill blood. His drive operates on his pure emotion when given the chance, his adrenaline only the catalyst to the mayhem ahead. When in a state of distress, he tends to scapegoat all those around him until he finds himself simmering down. |
history,
Upbringing in the Verr household almost seems typical for a lower-middle class family. His father and mother were both merchants and manned the stall in the streets of Andor, selling odds and ends. From clothes to bartered weapons, they made a decent living from it. Auros always stood in the middle of the busy streets, trying to get customers to give his family's shop a glance. Most of the time, if not all of it, the passersby would shrug off the pesky child's invitation. His childhood was filled with disappointment, but when his parental units were able to send him off to school, he experienced genuine happiness.
The young Verr's time in classes learning about the world around him was well spent. He absorbed the information, especially when it came to such things as history. Knowledge opened up a gateway to his future and his drive to learn more and pursue more became the propelling force. When he reached the age of 13, he was introduced to the concept of equestrianism. Horseback and eager, he trotted along the horizon of the plains surrounding Andor. All was right in the world.
When he turned seventeen, an opportunity arose. During a small recruitment drive for Andor's military force, he was persuaded to take up arms and become a part of something greater. To give back to the community that sheltered him and showed him love and affection, he felt this was the right choice. For five years he served as a faithful and obedient servant to the whims of his superiors. When he was up for promotion, he listed his horseback riding experience as an asset he had and he was given the title of 'Man at Arms'. Though not bound to the limits of the city's boundaries, he swore to be the first line of defense against any interlopers.
Five more years had passed and having built up a reputation for himself, he set his eyes upon higher aspirations. He had done his time for his city as one of the few who served his home. Now, he feels like the world is in his hands and ready for the taking.
