Lilinette Paresse
sapphire sloth; Assassin in Training
elf | 14 | female |
neutral | Rogue | Assassin (IT) |
appearance, Aesthetically, it is quite obvious that she is a mere child, appearing to be in her early teens or preteens. Her pale white skin doesn't stretch over much, due to Lilinettes small, seemingly fragile body. Small feet, breasts, and right hand are proportionally on point when you look at the little elf as a whole, standing tall at 4'8". This short body makes her knee long strawberry blonde hair less impressive in terms of length. What is still impressive, however, is her left hand. A normal, fragile arm leading all the way down to the wrist, where her curse becomes evident. A blue and black, seemingly demonic, skeletal-like hand about half the size of Lilinette's body takes the place of a normal, elven hand. This hand, however, is merely a weapon used by Lilinette, not that anyone would know such a thing sense she rarely ever takes it off. Lilinettes attire, however, varies. The color scheme always stays the same, a blue base color with black patterns scattered in an organized fashion through out the attire. Along with this, all of her outfits come with the same white ribbon around her neck, a gold pendent fashioned in the center. | personality, A smile practically tattooed onto Lilinette's face, her sadistic nature is almost undetectable. The joyous, childlike voice and lolita styled fashion make this young elf seem as innocent as they come, and you wouldn't be wrong. Her personality truly is that of a child. Always curious, questioning and exploring her surroundings. Then again, it is the fact that she us not putting on a show that makes her all the more dangerous. Paired together with this child-like persona is an unsuspected love of Lilinette's, the love of getting the kill. Being raised to be an assassin, I suppose it was only natural that she finds it such a thrilling experience. This childish persona of hers is one of the things that makes her so good at infiltrating areas, and getting close to her target. She loves to toy with her targets, maybe a combination of her sadistic side, and her child like persona. Of course, her passion to always do what is right, is a strong one. Making sure to only take up assassinations where the person truly deserves to be murdered. Along with this, Lilinette can not stand to see injustice. Any such acts make her blood boil, her skin crawl, and her hand twitch to act how she sees accordingly. |
history,
Born into a family of farmers, a young girls life was expected to be fairly uneventful. It was when someone put a bounty on her fathers head that all hell broke loose. Not even six months old when blood first touched the child's skin. Unaware of what was going on, the infant elf had almost no reaction to being picked up by a stranger, and being taken away. The child was gone before any authorities even knew what had happened to the family.
The child was raised by an elderly women, an elf who lived alone in a shrine placed in the middle of the woods. A shrine said to give guidance and protection to anyone inside. Given the name Lilinette, a name she quite enjoyed, she lived a fairly simple life. Being taught, fed, and raised by the old women. The old women was the only person that Lilinette ever saw, well, with the one exception of the womens grandson. A man about sixteen or seventeen years older then Lilinette, who came by about one every few weeks. Always rushing back off for what he called "work".
It was when Lilinette was nine years old that she overheard the old women and her grandson talking. Eyes opened wide and jaw practically hitting the floor, Lilinette over heard the entire conversation. The man had murdered her family, taking pity on Lilinette and bringer her to this shrine to be raised.
Lilinette didn't know what to do, however, it was when she overheard another conversation, one about the man needing someone to train so that he could have help on assassinations, that Lilinette stepped in. Volunteering to be that someone, the mans eyes lit up. His grandmother, however, wouldn't allow it. Neither of them giving up, Lilinette began to be trained behind the old womens back. Learning about the intricacies of the human, elf, and beastfolk bodies, along with how to throw knives, use a weapon, and improvise from the young man. It was at the age of twelve that Lilinette was taken on a trip, at least, that's what they had the old women believe. In actually, Lilinette was taken on her first assassination mission.
She did an astounding job, then again, one can't easily do poorly their job when all they have to do is stand there quietly and watch. Young Lilinette barely moved any muscles until Ciel had killed his target, and Lilinette attempted to kill him. Missing the man completely, she watched as Ciel flung her on her back. Mocking her, asking her if she honestly thought that, after simply two years of training, that she was good enough to take him on. Understanding where she was coming from, however, he let her go. Not promising to ever see her again, and leaving the girl behind. She did, however, find something she rather liked. Ciel had left the place, not taking a thing. Lilinette took some money to help her along the journy, money she is now completely out of, and found something she rather enjoyed. blue, skeleton-like gauntlet.
Lilinette never returned to the old women's house. Instead, she merely traveled around, trying to finish her training on her own, and trying to make sure that corrupt people like Ciel get what they deserve. Then again, she has a lot of work to do before she can actually become good enough to call herself an assassin, but with the help of her gauntlet, a powerless thing that she still likes to tell people is a demonic piece of equipment just to freak them out, she hopes to reach her goals..
