Typically Manticore have bodies like lions, tails with hard carapace and launchable spines, and leathery wings. Some Manticore have vaguely humanoid faces that unnerve even seasoned adventurers. Manticore are highly aggressive and can be found in deep forests or marshes. They are unsuited for mounts due to this unbiased aggression, though brave tamers have been known to befriend such creatures.
