Robin frowned, training an arrow on another stumbling Goblin. He could pick off the weak ones – that would be his contribution to this outing. In retrospect, you’d think they’d have targeted the mages right away. Hilda was bright, sure, but she was intimidating too. The Mages were brightly colored and extremely fancy looking. Perhaps that was just Robin’s perception of it, though. He had a tendency to associate those kinds of robes with class. It was that Valentine school that did it. They always looked so prim and proper.
Zevran was shouting and Guy was poisoned. He couldn’t see the extent of the injuries from his place at the top of the hill, but with luck they would be able to help him before things ended badly. Working as quickly as he could, Robin shot the weakest looking Goblin. He loaded up another arrow immediately after and shot it into the same Goblin in an effort to avoid giving it the opportunity to recover.
“Kill secured.” He muttered. “Just a few more."

I wield my blade ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ for the sake of everyone It seemed they chose to follow her advice, and with that brought down another Goblin. That left three of them, and all of them were at least injured. That also meant they outnumbered the Goblins, which the poor imps were able to quickly realize. With her fending off two of them, two mages outnumbering their third comrade, and the fourth that kept picking them off with arrows. It didn't take a genius to do the math, and this was met by a series of strange chitters and growls from the Goblins in their native tongue.
Snarling came from behind the hill, almost a duo of snarling as two wolves emerged along with a Goblin. The Goblin was holding what looked like poorly made leather leashes attached to each wolf. However, the more pertinent question on Hilda's mind was how did they manage to hide all of their numbers behind one measly hill? Once again, they were outnumbered and this time more dangerously than before.
It certainly didn't help that the odd Goblin, now confronted by two individuals that just bashed his friend and got him killed, decided to rush back to the safety of numbers, leaving all three of the remaining original Goblins to try and attack Hilda. She wasn't worried about them; she was worried about the wolves. They were dangerous with numbers on their side, striking at your undefended flank to tear flesh right out of you.
"Do what you can to take out the wolves! They're the bigger threat!" she shouted, letting the three other poisoned blades prick her skin as she brought her halberd around, delivering a decisive one-two swing combo to the more heavily injured Goblin. The creature dropped before it could switch it's advantageous grin to a frown of despair. who am i? Guy was surprised when more goblins and a few wolves appeared. "Shit, this just got a lot tougher." He swore. Focusing he began conjuring his water bomb again, this time aiming it at one of the wolves that popped up. He had know idea how much it would help but he knew a wet wolf was at least funnier to look at than a dry wolf.
"Gah! Fuck!" He swore again as he felt whatever poison had been on the goblin blade wrack him with pain. Panting he grasped his staff again and looked at the now soaked canine. Without a second thought he shot another basic attack at the poor beast. "Take that you mangy mutt!"

Running away was a fairly solid idea, as far as solid ideas go. He was significantly squishier than just about anyone else there, and getting distance after helping out the guy who approached his squishiness was a plan that would have the least likely chance for him to get squooshed. What he didn't factor in, though, was the fact that reinforcements would come. Reinforcements that came in the form of ravenous wolves.
"...Really?!" He shouts, exasperated, turning as fast as he can, but not before getting a good smack in on one of the dogs. Running on a tangent that takes him away from both the goblins and the wolves, he tries to get some distance in. In the end, he trips on a rock, falling on his shoulder and tumbling with the landing. Looking behind him, he sees Hilda and Guy dealing with the dogs. "Enough of this!" he shouts, shooting his ice once more, darts flinging out to strike the dogs, and the goblins again for good measure. Seeing one of the wolves go down, he smiles a bit. "Maybe it'll be over soon?"

Wolves? Really? Well, that was different. Robin readied another arrow and tried to find another suitable target, but things were moving rather quickly now. Guy and Hilda appeared to be holding their own. It wasn’t until Zevran’s second blast of scattering magic that he was able to find a target. Or rather, two targets.
He reached into his bag and produced a vial of purple liquid that he proceeded to dip an arrow in. Then he loaded a clean arrow onto the bow. The first shot hit the one remaining wolf. The second – the one with the purple tip – flew forward at one of the Goblins. Upon impact, the Goblin went to sleep.
“Don’t hit that one – let it sleep!” He called. “Get the others first, save it until the end!”

I wield my blade ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ for the sake of everyone Teamwork can do wonders. The first of the wolves was dropped before it could even tell what had happened to it. As well, she watched as one of the goblins quickly fell asleep after being shot with one of Robin's arrows. A sleeping agent? A useful thing to have around and it would help here. That meant one less goblin they had to deal with right now.
That however did not mean Hilda was quite out of the woods. The remaining three resumed their swarm tactics and all focused on her, the two Goblins leading the assault with their blades. It didn't do much to her, but the wolf was another story. Taking advantage of an opening left in her defenses by the Goblins, it landed a solid bite on her thigh. A small shout of pain came from her mouth before being stifled, refusing to give into the pain. She still had plenty of fight left in her and she would outlast these guys.
"FINISH IT!" she shouted, delivering two solid bashes of the halberd to the body of the wolf, it's thick hide shielding it some but not by much. It was on death's door now, and a bit of worry appeared on the faces of the Goblins. They wouldn't stand much of a chance if the wolf was taken out and they knew it. Plus, once the wolf was gone, they were going to be outnumbered. The tides were turning against them fast.

who am i?
One wolf already down and out. Guy noticed it falling and not getting up before he trained his weapon on the next large canine. It seemed all of the enemies were more focused on Hilda then on the others in the group. That was a good thing for Guy as it meant he wouldn't be used as a knife sharpener again. Or at least not for a while if he's being honest.
Not being targeted for attack didn't mean he wouldn't be affected by the poison in his veins. The pain wracked him and even after he had braced himself for it he still shook and shuddered because of it. "Dammit!" He steadied himself again before continuing his attack on the remaining wolf.
With that beast down it was time to finish off the goblins. The one that lie sleeping was a tempting target but the boy Robin had said not to attack it yet. So instead he attacked one of the two stabbing at Hilda. "We're almost there." He said, gritting his teeth as the energy flowed from his staff.

By now, the goblins were looking a lot less scary with so many of them on the ground. Zevran moves up closer to the fray, now that it seemed like things were handled. "Shouldn't be much longer now..."
Seeing Guy out helping Hilda made Zevran want to scream at him being an idiot, but as it was, that seemed like the best thing to do. Trying to assist in ending this nightmare without necessarily making himself a target, he throttles the goblin that Guy had already started beating up with his staff, forcing the poor beast to choose between him, Guy, and Hilda to find out just where to swing that knife of his.

Just three left, soon to be two. Robin wasn’t sure whether or not he ought to feel guilty for having spent the majority of this battle perched safety atop this hill while his three companions met their enemies head on, but two of them were mages, so could they not also fight at a distance…? It was likely better this way anyhow. Were it not for the others, the Goblins would have had nobody to target but Hilda.
His next arrow picked off yet another Goblin. That left one that was asleep and one that was still relatively healthy, if not for long. Within seconds of the first one, another arrow flew through the air and pierced that “healthy” Goblin’s stomach. It wouldn’t be long now.

I wield my blade ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ for the sake of everyone It was over. The lone conscious goblin painfully knew it was outnumbered. With the rest of its comrades dead and one sound asleep, it was outmanned and outarmed so to speak. Rather than fight a very quickly losing battle, it opted for the safest option of fleeing as fast as its little legs could carry it. While she could attempt to chase it down, Hilda decided not to for now. There were more pressing matters she had to deal with right here, such as the lone sleeping goblin.
With a single solid swing of her halberd, the blade cleaved into the neck of the sleeping goblin and ended things there. Her thoughts didn't linger on it as she immediately moved to check behind the hill. How did so many goblins and wolves fit behind one meager hill? It was once she reached the other side that the answer became clear. Built into the far side of the hill was a small tunnel extending underground. It was too small for her to try and fit into along with her gear and she didn't intend to ask any of the others to try and go down it; who knew what else might be lurking within it?
"There's a tunnel built into the hill, that's how they seemed to pop out of nowhere," she relayed to the others, looking and spotting something near the entrance. Hanging on the side wall of this tunnel near the entrance was a sack of some kind. It looked to have something inside of it but she couldn't tell from looking at it what was in it. Using her halberd as a sort of hook, she lifted it off the thing it was hanging from (it looked like a rock protrusion) and took the sack in hand. Judging by the weight and shape now that she could see it...
"Can't tell how far the tunnel goes, but I apologize Zevran. I don't think the book you were looking for is here. They may have taken it further in. All that was there was this sack." while she was a bit disappointed they couldn't find what Zevran was looking for, it was not a total loss. The tunnel did explain where these goblins were attacking from and why people had not caught them until now. It was so far from the main road that most caravans wouldn't send their forces this far out, in order to prevent further losses. Not to mention they did manage to get something back from the Goblins, which was... Handwaved the rest of the combat due to Goblin personalities.
