| It had been an uneventful day for Brielle. She had come to Andor to listen for any rumors or legends of treasure. So far all she had gotten was nothing except what was a common legend. Something about a dragon guarding some magic rock. Brielle was adventurous certainly, but going after a dragon was suicide and she knew it.
It was completely by accident she had stumbled across the shop she was entering. It was small, out of the way, and the sign was in need of repair but Brielle had caught site of it and decided to enter it. Relics and Oddities was it's name, if she read the sign correctly.
Inside the building was an assortment of various items and trinkets. Perhaps she had found the reason of today after all. She made her way around the little shop, looking at the various items, trying to gauge how much each would be worth to resell. That was assuming she even bought anything, she could always just steal the items she wanted, as long as they were small enough.

Another dull day, no customers or even his fan club today. Kairu was sick of the constant pestering from them anyway, he had tried to prove that they existed countless times. He lay on the counter spread across the entire of it, his fluffy grey tail hung off the edge and swung slowly from left to right. He yawned at the exact moment that he heard the door close, his eyes glanced over to the door. A feline looking beastfolk walked in, Kairu was pleased to see one of his kinsfolk however the canine in him wanted to chase the cat. Suppressing such base primal instincts Kairu called out in a cheery manner. "Welcome~ feel free to browse~" He was not in much of a mood to push a sale today, he went back to lazying around on the counter.
He was listening to the shop, it was fairly quiet outside today as such he could hear every small sound in the shop. Somewhere a fly buzzed around much to the irritation of Kairu, he hated that sound it was a disgusting noise. "If you are looking for a good bargain, I would recommend trying elsewhere." He spoke aloud to the shop, he was unsure if she would hear him but it was of no consequence whether she did or not. Usually people walked out after a while anyway, very few who came in to browse bought anything unless Kairu pushed for it. He peered over to see what this stranger was up to, she had better not be shop lifting was the first thought that came to his mind.

| Brielle had been examining a small necklace when she was startled by a voice. She looked at the counter that she hadn't really paid attention to and there standing, well more like leaning against the counter, was a beastfolk man. Some sort of canine, wolf if she had to take a guess. "Uh, yeah. Hi by the way." She replied to the man, a smile plastered on her face. "I suppose you work here? My name's Brielle."
She held the necklace up to the light, examining the jewel on the end. The light refracted through it and cast a small rainbow that caught each particle of dust that floated through it. "So, do you usually tell customers to shop elsewhere? It doesn't seem like you'd make much money that way." Brielle questioned the man behind the counter, her gaze remained on the necklace she was dangling in front of herself. "You must not be a very good salesman." She chuckled at the clerk's expense.
"So, out of curiosity," Brielle spoke again. "What is the value of this necklace? What's so special about it, does it have any magical properties perhaps?" Brielle was mainly asking to figure resale value later, but it was a nice looking piece of jewelry, maybe she'd just keep it for herself.

Kairu smiled briefly at the rather friendly introduction, in a polite fashion of his own he replied to her. "Kairu Ao, a pleasure. I would not call me an employee more of a leech, the owner is kind enough to feed and house me so I stick around." While this was part truth, there was a lot more to Kairu's reasons for staying. He began laughing at her remark of his sales pitch, he let out a rather amused grin stretch across his face before responding with his own. "Well usually just the ones who come to browse, this is not a tourist attraction it is a business. Admittedly a failing one at that, as for my ability as a sales person... It depends on the day I am having." He let out a slight yawn, it had been a slow morning the sort that would exhaust the strength of anyone.
He noticed the necklace, in her hands before she even asked of it. His grin turned into that of a roguish smile, his inner merchant intent on making money. He had always been taught not to be greedy however, a greedy merchant was a failure of a merchant. A fair bargain and a fair profit, people had to eat after all especially Kairu. "Out of curiosity, what makes you think that the necklace is special? It could just be a necklace that I bought from one of the market stalls outside." He answered her question with a question. as if to answer it fully however he answered her first question. "95 gold, that is the value of that particular necklace." He waited to see how she reacted to his own question before answering her in full, his tail swishing slowly and playfully from left to right. He had decided to enjoy himself a little, she was certainly right about their being something special about the necklace but he wanted to see her reasoning on it.

| A giggle escaped Brielle when Kairu introduced himself. "You look rather well for a leech. Quite dashing in my opinion." She said. "Your eyes make you seem more... mystical, exotic even." She flirted.
"I'm an adventurer and I'm always on the look out for trinkets and baubles enchanted to help protect me. Traps and monsters make dungeon crawling quite dangerous, even for someone with nine lives." She explained. "In fact, I'm looking at a small cavern nearby, it looks abandoned and I've been wanting to see what treasures are in there. Maybe you would like to come along? Get out of this dusty shop and see the worl through more than just a dirty window?" She offered. She hardly had anyone with her on her adventures anymore; it got lonely.
"Ninety-five gold? Do I look like Sendaikuni's lucky cat to you?" She scoffed, half mocking half accusing the man. "There must be something I can do to get a discount. Or would you really cheat a fellow beastfolk out of her hard earned money." She thrust her bottom lip out in an overly-dramatic pout. Her tail swished angrily behind her.
